The house is situated in the Upper Maremma along the Tuscan Coast, between the Port of Baratti and San Vincenzo (Li). It is located about 100 meters from the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by the Nature Reserve of Rimigliano, and with a private park of approx. 7 hectares. It is one of very few houses positioned directly by the sea, and is the only one that has a private cabin built on stilts directly on the beach.

Fifteen minutes north is the famous wine making town of Bolgheri, home to some of the best Italian wineries including Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Guado al Tasso. The medieval town is small, charming and full of great restaurants. A few kilometers south lays the bay of Baratti and the town of Populonia, amongst the beautiful beaches and steep forests you can find Etruscan ruins everywhere.
