The house
A private residence, still inhabited by its history.
The sitting rooms, dining room and bedrooms retain furniture, books and portraits gathered by the family over time. The grounds surround the house and follow the short path down to the beach.

Inside the house
The character of a real home.
Generous, light-filled rooms, family pieces and doors opening onto the garden. Cavalleggeri does not pursue hotel uniformity: every room has a character of its own.

On the beach
The beach hut.
A long table beneath a timber roof, with sand and the Tyrrhenian Sea ahead. It is one of the property’s most distinctive spaces, reached on foot from the house.
Since 1939
From horse post to a home for family summers.
In 1939, Count Uguccione and Countess Lea della Gherardesca commissioned architect Tullio Rossi to transform the old horse post into a holiday residence. Welcoming people has been part of the house’s story ever since.
